How quickly can you supply workers?

We respond to all labour requests the same business day. In many cases we can have workers on-site within 24–48 hours, depending on the role, location, and specific requirements. For urgent requests, call us directly and we'll do everything we can to help.

What types of workers can you supply?

We specialise in warehouse labourers, forklift operators (counterbalance, reach truck, order picker), container unload crews, pick and pack workers, and general logistics labour. All workers are screened, inducted, and ready to work.

Question 3

Are your workers licensed and compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All forklift operators hold current Victorian licences (LF or LO as required). All workers have verified right to work in Australia, have completed a safety induction, and are equipped with PPE before deployment. A2Z Labour Hire holds a current Victorian Labour Hire Licence.

Question 4

Do you provide PPE?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We provide all required PPE to our workers — safety boots, hi-vis vests, gloves, and any site-specific PPE required. There is no cost to you for PPE.

Question 5

Can we hire workers on a permanent basis?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer temp-to-perm pathways for workers who are a good fit for your operation. Speak to your account manager about transitioning a casual or temp worker to a permanent role.

Question 6

What are your billing and payment terms?

Accepted Answer

We invoice weekly for hours worked. Payment terms are net 14 days. All rates are agreed upfront — no hidden fees or surprise charges. Contact us for a detailed rate card.

Do you cover peak season and surge staffing?

Absolutely. Peak season surge staffing is one of our core services. We maintain a pool of available workers and can scale up quickly to meet increased demand during busy periods.

Question 8

What happens if a worker doesn't show up?

Accepted Answer

We take reliability seriously. If a worker is unable to attend, we will work to find a replacement as quickly as possible. We also follow up with workers before each shift to confirm attendance.

How do I apply for work?

Do I need a forklift licence?

A forklift licence is required for forklift operator roles (LF for counterbalance, LO for order picker). For general warehouse and container roles, no licence is required — though experience is always valued.

Question 11

What do I need to bring to work?

Accepted Answer

You'll need steel cap safety boots. We provide all other PPE including hi-vis vests and gloves. You'll also need to complete a brief safety induction before your first shift.

What shifts are available?

We have day, afternoon, and night shifts available depending on the site and client requirements. We'll discuss shift options with you when we talk about available roles.

How quickly can I start working?

Once your details are confirmed and your induction is complete, we can often have you working within a few days. The process is straightforward and we move as fast as you do.

Are there ongoing roles available?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have both casual and ongoing roles available. Many of our workers start on a casual basis and transition to ongoing or permanent positions with our clients.
